Message from Principal

Welcome to APPS Pulgaon. I consider myself very lucky to be part of a school with more than 65 years of legacy. The school provides highest standard of teaching and learning to our tiny tots in a playway method. We are striving hard to provide excellent learning environment to the young children and ensuring that they take their first steps on the journey of education with confidence and enthusiasm.

“If a child can’t learn the way we teach, may be we should teach the way they learn”.

We emphasize on learning by doing. In addition to academic excellence, the school aims at holistic development of our little learners by providing them warm and conducive environment.

The school website would be a reflection of the creative methodology adapted to motivate and inspire young minds to explore, discover and learn.

I seek total co-operation from the parents in all our endeavours. Together we will take pride in seeing our children to climb the ladder of achievement.

Army Pre Primary Schools (APPS)

Army Preprimary School is recognized as one of the finest educational institutes in the region. It is located inside the cantonment area Pulgaon opposite to officers’ mess. APPS Pulgaon came into existence in 1954.It was named back then as Garrison School Pulgaon. In year 2009,the school was renamed to Saurya Army Pre School. In April 2011,the school was redesignated as Army Pre Primary School. It was during this year the school came under the aegis of AWES.

APPS Pulgaon was primarily for children of service personnel and depot employees. It aims at imparting sound basic education to students between the age group of 3 to 5 years and developing in children the qualities of a good citizen, disciplined individuals and all round development in their personalities. School offers learning space for early childhood care education (ECCE) to children before they begin compulsory education at primary school.
